| Patnitop Dev Authority collects entry fee but fails to construct toilets, parking facility | | |

Patnitop, Jan 28: Despite collecting fee of Rs 35/ from private vehicles and Rs 70/ from commercial vehicles as parking and entry fee to visit Patnitop and Natha top, there are no parking and toilet facilities for the tourists. The Patnitop Development Authority (PDA) collects the fee 10-kms ahead of the identified places for the visitors without caring whether they would get the parking space at reaching the destinations for which they have paid the money. If a person visiting Patnitop is influential or is a scribe no entry fee is charged. The big question which the PDA needs to answer is that if it’s collecting the entry fee where is that money going as the authority has failed to construct public toilets and the parking facility for the tourists. |
