Div Com appreciates Career Guidance Program for Youth being run by Christian Fellowship Trust

JAMMU, Feb 26: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Raghav Langer today advised the youth to pursue their career goals with utmost earnestness as commitment and dedication are the only mantra for success.
He was speaking at a Career Guidance program for Youth organized by Christian Fellowship Trust, here at St. Peters’ Church Prem Nagar.
The event was organised under the guidance of Trust Chairman Rev. Fr. Kuriakose & President Rev. Vijay Kumar. The event was focused on helping and encouraging the Christian Youth in particular and other youth in general with the objective to guide them to achieve a good career and achieve success in life.
Dr. Raghav Langer Divisional Commissioner Jammu, the Chief Guest, appreciated the Christian Fellowship Trust Jammu for the initiative aimed at providing Career Guidance to the youth and also honoring the achievers of Christian Community.
Addressing the Students and parents of the Youth, the Div Com explained in detail youth centric schemes of the Government of India. He specially mentioned the Skill development program for imparting training to the youth and developing them into future entrepreneurs. He also encouraged the youth to work hard, achieve success and become job providers instead of Job seekers. Earlier, the event began with the Prayer by Rev.Vijay Kumar, President of the Trust. Fr. Kuriakose Chairman welcomed the gathering and the distinguished guests.
In his brief address, Fr. Kuriakose said that the Christian Community forms a minuscule minority in J&K as compared to other religious communities, but its contribution in the fields of education, health and social service has been remarkable. Later, Dr. Raghav visited St. Peters’ Catholic Church and offered Prayers. Parish Priest Fr. Kurikose also prayed in his presence for the peace, harmony, development and growth of J&K under the dynamic administration of Dr. Langar.
Rajesh Gill, Chief Prosecuting Officer, Johnson Gill Manager Airlines and Sharad Kalu SDPO Jammu also spoke on the occasion and shared their experiences with the student.
The Christian Fellowship Trust also felicitated the achievers belonging to the Christian Community which included S.Peter, Rajesh Gill, Johnson Gill, Rakesh Akram,Sharad Kalu, Aman Khokher and Dr.Michael Gill .
Prominent persons present on the occasion were Pastor Robin, Pastor Vinod, Asif Gill, Thomas Khokher, Micheal Wazir, Nasir Wazir, Griffan Gill, David Mattoo and William Mattoo.
The proceedings of the function were conducted by Justina Victor and Alex Johnson, while the vote of thanks was presented by Edwin Khokher.
