The importance of relationships
2/26/2022 11:53:29 PM
Vijay Garg

Relationships are very important for living a happy life. In order to strengthen the raw threads of love and affection in endless relationships, it is very important to have faith in them and to be loyal to each other.
They are made to feel even more lovable and close than their own.
If the bond of relationship is firm then the sorrows in every moment of life are given a new lesson to live life through consolation and encouragement. These needs are slowly creeping into every relationship.
Not to mention any other relationship, if we talk about such a relationship, through their great giving and enduring millions of sorrows with laughter, this colorful world shows a new born body.
That relationship is the worship of “mother and father”. The relationship that has been given the status of God in Gurbani but with this relationship which is considered to be equal to God in the present times, seeing and hearing about disrespect, then the heart is pounding.
The sad thing I want to share is that those who disrespect the pure and meaningless relationship of the parents forget that when the first breath was taken on earth, the parents were as happy.
It may be that the God who puts the breath in the body may not have guessed it but sadly in this day and age when parents are dreaming of having their loved ones with them at the last breath. But it would be even more painful for the parents to face death at that time.
When the bed was getting wet, the mother herself would lie down on that place and put it on the hook and make it feel dry. What could be a more unfortunate time than tears flowing from the eyes and the eyes always being wet but still no pain to their children.
Children may find their parents suspicious, angry and biased, but their prayers to reach the heights by beating themselves up and praying to God with both hands for the welfare of the children.
Why forget to be the manifest divine form to beautify the future. Truth be told, there are times when tears come twice in the eyes of a parent, one during a daughter’s dolly and the other when the son fights and turns his face away.
Assume that tears flow daily from the eyes of parents by strangling and humiliating their happiness as if it has become a fashion.
The mother carries her baby in her womb enduring millions of unbearable pains but never lets her mouth feel the pain.
What if a five year old darling expects love and affection from his parents so that even parents above the age of 50 would not expect love and respect from their child? The answer is yes
There is no greater sin in this world than betraying the parents who played in the lap as a child. The meeting of other worldly relationships is by choice but the spiritual relationship of the parents is met by deeds.
Those who do not have parents can be asked about this sorrow and how worldly relationships turn away.
My request is that one should never hurt the heart of one’s divine parents because of the relationships formed by choice. The basic duty of children to serve their parents with body, mind and money is the real feeling of true devotion and attainment of Lord.
