Gupta describes Mission Youth an eyewash | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 3: National Conference Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta today lashed out at the Lieutenant Governor's administration for pushing the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to wall by limiting the avenues of jobs. Speaking to a delegation of border dwellers led by District President Samba, Sudagar Chand Gupta, Block Vijaypur, Block Ramgarh and Block Bari Brahmana in District Samba. Rattan Lal Gupta sought rollback of the order cancelling the advertisements published before 31st October 2019 and resuming the process for recruitment in the police organization which were cancelled at the last movement in the border belt. Gupta said that there was no justification for these harsh measures, especially as the youth had prepared themselves for facing the selection process after undergoing preliminary screening. He said the prudence demands to meet the demands of the aggrieved candidates by rolling back the anti-youth orders issued in the recent past. He sought launch of a special recruitment drive for the border youth in police and other para military forces. The Provincial President termed Mission Youth as an eyewash and said under the garb of such hypes the educated unemployed besides skilled and unskilled workforce are just being misled. He sought a clear road map for filling up nearly 60,000 vacancies which have accumulated during the recent years due to the pathetic approach of the administration. Gupta also sought filling up of all the vacancies of the doctors and para medical staff in primary health centres and sub-centres in the rural areas. He called for strengthening the rural health infrastructure to meet the requirements of the ailing people and reversing the trend of referral even in case of minor ailments. The Provincial President exhorted the cadre to gear up for meeting the challenges to Jammu and Kashmir and to strengthen the party at grass roots level to achieve the objective of serving people in an effective manner.
