| Helpers, workers, supervisors of ICDS hold strong protest; demand release of salary | | |  Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Mar 3: Scores of helpers, workers and supervisors of ICDS today carried out a protest against the Jammu & Kashmir administration and demanded release of their pending salary.
During the melee some of the protesters fainted only to be revived after some time.
The protesters resorted to vociferous sloganeering and alleged that the administration higher ups are sitting in cozy rooms while putting the lower rung employees and officials to tremendous hardships.
They said that poor people like helpers, workers and supervisors are being pushed to wall and they are unable to make the two ends meet. |
