| Anganwadi workers, helpers demand salary | | |

JAMMU, Mar 10: Anganwadi workers and helpers today protested against the Jammu & Kashmir administration and said that despite putting in services their monthly honorarium is not paid on time. The Anganwadi workers said that although a separate department was carved out but the motive has not been fulfilled with the Anganwadi workers being forced to come on streets and protest for release of their meagre honorarium. They said that they are put to work as and when the government needs some data but when it comes to pay them the salary the government draws a big blob. |
