Kishtwar, Apr 17: Taking strong note of publication and uploading of inflammatory material on social networking site Facebook and Instagram, Kishtwar police registered an FIR against the accused person for hurting the religious sentiments of a perticular community. As per the details available with Early Times, Kishtwar police registered an FIR No.85/2022 U/S 295-A IPC at Police Station Kishtwar against Aman Singh Parihar son of Rajinder Singh Parihar Resident of Hidyal Kishtwar and set the investigation into motion. The official sources told the Early Times that Jammu and Kashmir police has taken tough stand against those who are trying to instigate the people through social media that could led to the distribution of peace and communal harmony in Kishtwar District and the latest FIR is an indication of zero tolerance towards such things. Senior officials in Jammu and Kashmir police appeal the people to refrain sharing or posting and sensitive material on social media. The local people hail the swift action of Kishtwar police and demanded stern action against the guilty persons whosoever will try yo set the peace on fire in Kishtwar District. |
