Altaf Bukhari condemns innocent killings in Kashmir, asks people to stand against terror | > Exudes hope PM will announce restoration of J&K’s statehood during his upcoming visit to UT > Terms Aam Aadmi Party as tourists | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 17: Former J&K Finance Minister and President of Apni Party, Altaf Bukhari on Sunday condemned the recent killings of sarpanchs in Kashmir and urged people to come forward and raise their voice against terrorism. “People of Kashmir have to stand up and condemn such acts of barbarism. They took a stand and today there is no stone pelting in the Valley. They have to say no to violence and guns. It’s unfortunate that Kashmiri is killing a Kashmiri,” Bukhari told a local news channel. Referring to the attempts being made by the Aam Admi Party to venture into J&K, Bukhari said, “Elections in J&K are on cards and political parties making an attempt to make their presence felt before polls is nothing new. The AAP contested the previous elections and then went back. Tourists keep on visiting J&K and we welcome them with open arms.” The Apni Party President exuded hope that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, during his upcoming visit to J&K would make big announcements like restoration of statehood and regularization of the daily wagers. “We hope PM Modi won’t disappoint people of J&K,” he added. |
