REASI, Apr 28: As a part of public outreach programme, " Than Diwas" an initiative of Government of J&K UT organized all over the District by District Police Reasi.
At Police Station Chassana, the programme was chaired by Amit Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi.
SDPOs, SHOs of district police Reasi chaired the programs at other Police Stations of the district.
Civil Society members and respectable persons of the areas remained present on the occasions.
During the programme, participants highlighted various issues of public importance, and they were assured that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and that of Civil Administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. While speaking on the occasion, it was reiterated that policing at grass root level in the District would be revamped to enhance proficiencies of the cops and to develop confidence among the people.
SSP Reasi Amit Gupta while speaking on the occasion conveyed that "Thana Diwas" is an initiative started by Govt. of J&K UT to bridge the gap between Police and Public and also to listen and redress the grievances of common masses. |
