SRINAGAR, Apr 28: Residents of Batmaloo area today lodged a strong protest against the non-availability of electricity and said that the Jammu & Kashmir administration has failed to provide power to the people especially during the holy month of Ramadhan.
Talking to Early Times a group of women protesters said that there is no electricity in the area at the time of Sehri and Iftaar and it gets difficult for them to cook the meals in the absence of electricity. They said the people at helm have miserably failed to provide basic necessities like power and water to the people of Kashmir. |
