JAMMU, May 1: 1st Ravi Tikku Speed Ball Championship organized by J&K Sports Speed Ball Association concluded at IDPS. The chief guest on the occasion was Munish Gupta (Editor-in-Chief, Early Times) and the function was presided over by Pooja Malhotra (Founder Patron JKSBA).
A.K Attri (IPS), Dr. N.M Tikku and Tarun Uppal (President JSBA) were the guests of honour. Jyoti Gupta, Rajiv Thussu, Reema Tikku, Pawan Kumar and Renu Nanda were also present on the occasion.
More than 250 players from various schools participated in this event. Medals and certificates were distributed among the players.
The schools participated in the tournament included Crescent Public School, R M Public School, Crescent Sports Club Janipur, Dashmesh Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School, Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial Public High School, Dogra Hr.Sec School, Jammu Sanskiti School, Banyan International School, S.D Tara Puri High School, Shiksha Niketan School, Shubh International School Akhnoor, B.S.K Hr Sec School, Lord Shiva Day Boarding High School, Sainik Cooperative Public High School, Tikri, Army Public School Udhampur, International Daily Rising School, Navdeep High School, IDPS, and Nanda Sports Club. Jammu Sanskriti School won the overall Championship Trophy. The match was officiated by Sahil Janjua, Ankit Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, Parkash Singh, Gurmanjeet Singh, Vishal Kumar, Sahil Kumar, Mridma Gupta, Amer Kushal, Yogant Singh and Aditya Pawar.
