| Oil Tanker driver dies in Zojila accident | | |

Srinagar, May 1: Driver of an oil tanker died on the spot after the vehicle he was driving lost control over it and rolled down into a deep gorge along Zojila axis on Srinagar-Leh Highway on Sunday, officials said.
They said a tanker on the way to Kargil district skidded off the road near India Gate on the Zojila axis and fell down into a deep gorge resulting in on the spot death of the driver.
The deceased has been identified as Muzafar Iqbal of Kewal Budal in Rajouri district of Jammu region. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case in this regard. |
