Dozens of youth join Shiv Sena

UDHAMPUR, May 1: Shiv Sena J&K unit expressed great disappointment against the BJP led government at the Centre for its failure to restore statehood to the Jammu and Kashmir despite passing of more than two and half years.
Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena while speaking at the joining programme held at Udhampur said that BJP led government has disappointed the masses.
More than dozens of people today joined the party fold in presence of Manish Sahni during a program held at Udhampur in which Sahni demanded restoration of statehood before the holding Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Sahni said that more than two and a half years have passed in waiting for restoration of statehood status. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the floor of the House on August 2019 promised to return the statehood to the people of Jammu and Kashmir soon but till date nothing has been done in this regard.
Sahni said that the Central Government is going back on all its promises made with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Sahni said that BJP is only trying to befool the people by claiming that abrogation of 370 is a great step that has paved way for development and employment removing all the hurdles. He accused the BJP of misleading the public on all the significant issues.
Sahni said that Shiv Sena will raise its voice in high pitch for securing the rights of the people of J&K and the public should also remember the betrayal happening to them and give a befitting reply when the time comes. While present on the occasion, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Udhampur in-charge Ashwani Prabhakar, District Prabhari Sanjeev Sharma, Rajesh Handa General Secretary Anil Vijay welcomed the new entrants with Shiv Bandhan and party symbol. Vibhav Raina, Rahul Sharma, Arjun Sadotra, Ashutosh, Sohan Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Sunny Kumar and many others joined the party. Sahni announced Ajay Gupta as District Kamgaar President where as Rashiv Khajuria as Youth Unit President and Amit Sharim as Spokesperson. Many leaders from Udhampur including Sanjay Pandita, Rajesh Khajuria, Imtihan Hussain, Vijay Singh, Rajinder Singh, Tinkle Arora, Rajesh Verma, Ramesh Verma, Sunil Kumar and Vishal Verma were present on this occasion.
