Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 23: The J&K Govt Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee (EWJAC-R) held its meeting here today and urged the government to implement the orders of the High Court vide SWP No. 3058/2015 and Contempt No 25/2016 in letter and spirit regarding removal of Pay Anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest. The meeting was held under under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik state President of the Association and was attended by Bharat Bushan, Ashok Singh, Yash Paul Sharma, Meenakshi Sharma, Jaswant Singh, Parshotarn Sharma, Ansuya Gupta, Seva Ram Rathore, Farida Bano, Vikas Chandcr, Vikas Sharma, Mohd Sadiq, Lekh Raj, Om Prakash, Kapil Gupta, Uday Singh Pathania, Sandeep Singh, Ranbir Singh, Darshan Angurana, Ali Mohd & others. During the meeting members urged upon the Govt to remove pay anomalies of the clerical cadre and also highlighted their other pending demands. They also demanded enhancement of Medical allowance of the employees and pensioners from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, provision of dislocation allowance to the employees placed away from their home town, regularization of daily wagers, adhoc, contractual, need based workers besides Asha and Anganwadi workers. They appealed to the Chief Minister of state to address their pending issues. Meanwhile members also welcomed the newly formed J&K State Life Insurance Employees Association and congratulated the newly elected body including Mohan Lal as President, C.L. Dhar as Vice President, Harbans Kumari as General Secretary, Birbal as Joint Secretary and Bimla Kumari as Cashier. |
