Chinj Mela Samleu Inaugurated by NHPC 9/23/2016 11:21:29 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept. 23: The famous Chinj mela at Samleu/Khairi in Himachal Pradesh, just across river Sewa in Maskha village in J&K inaugurated by Sardar Bikram Singh, Chief Engineer (I/C) NHPC Sewa II Project Maskha, in the presence of thousands of local people from Himachal & Jammu. More than 300 shops/stalls have participated this time making is the biggest ever mela so far. While addressing the massive gathering Sdr. Bikram Singh urged the local people to cultivate the habbit of maintaining good health so as to remain free from all diseases. Good health is next to Godliness. He sponsored the mela by giving them a cheque of Rs. 51000/- for which the organisers thanked NHPC profusely and honoured Sh Bikram Singh with a shawl and a memento.
