Jammu, Sept 23: The theatre artists of Jammu are showing in huge enthusiasm to publicize Natya Samagama-2016 by staging street plays in different corners of Jammu city. One such performance was held at Rani Park, Jammu which featured by artists Shazi Khan, Rishabh Manhas and Anil Bhat the theatre artists of Jammu are publicizing the biggest ever theatre festival Natya Samagama-2016 which is being organised by Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu. The festival is commencing from Saturday (tomorrow) which will feature 51 events which will be presented in five days, featuring 600 artists who will present Nationally/Internationally acclaimed theatre productions and personalities. The other major attraction of the festival will be the featuring of rarest performing arts traditions of Jammu and Kashmir including Bhand Pather, Surnai, Sufiyana Music, Kud, Chajja, Chakkri, Phuminiyan, Geetru, Karakan, Bhakh, Jagarna, Dhambali, Gagail, Chinjjan, Jattar, Massade, Bhagtiaan, Jaadu Jadiyan and Hern. |
