Ramban, Sept 23: The District level inter-school Athletic Meet for the year 2016-17 under All Age Group in the girls section commenced here at District Police Line Ramban.
The Athletic Meet is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports JandK, Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed. A good number of Govt/ Private Schools are participating in the mega event.
Today's Final Results:
In HIGH JUMP U/14 yrs: Anu Devi of MS Sawani, Lalita Devi of MS Gami, Riya Devi of MS Ludhwal bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals respectively and in U/17 yrs: Ranjana Devi of HS Pernote, Nowrena Banoo of HS Dhandrath and Shakida Banoo of HS Dharam bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals respectively.
In JAVELIAN THROW, U/17 yrs: Shahina Banoo of HS Dharam and Abida Ishrat of HS Dhandrath bagged Gold and Silver Medals respectively.
U/19 yrs: Raziya Javeed HSS Ramban and Tooba Akhter of HSS Ramban bagged Gold and Silver Medals respectively.
In 3000 MTRS RACE, U/17 yrs: Gulshan Banoo of HS Dharam and Varsha Devi of HS Pernote bagged Gold and Silver Medals respectively.
