JAMMU, Sept 22: An IPS officer, who is at present SSP of a district in Jammu region, is all set to proceed on central deputation to NIA. The NIA has already gives its nod in this regard and only a formal order is to be issued by it in a day or two, police sources said.
In the state police circles, the officer is considered as the 'blue-eyed' of many senior officers. It was only due to the blessings of these senior officers that the officer was posted as the SSP of a district here, the sources added. To get a posting in NIA, the officer utilised the services of his seniors who had a great say in NIA, sources said. All the officers of the batch of this officer are said to be posted at different positions in the state. The officer was, however, the lone officer of this batch to get a good posting. The officer would return to the state at the time of 'his' promotion and then try for some big posting. |
