Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 31: Though the State Government was sleeping over the matter pertaining to the dispute at the Special Scale of KAS, the High Court of J&K in a contempt petition has directed the Government to show compliance of the Apex Court order by 7th April 2015. The Additional Advocate General has also sought time before Court for implementation of the orders of the Supreme Court regarding posting of the Officers of the Special Scale KAS strictly as per the Seniority list affirmed by the Single Bench of the Hon'ble High Court wherein the Court has laid down the principal that Officers having no slots available to their feeding services in a particular year cannot be placed over and above petitioners and are thus to be pushed down in the Seniority list. The Court has even identified 49 such officers and also directed to review the cases of the petitioners from the date vacancies are available and inductions took place with respect to the different feeding services leaving behind the petitioners from the year 2004 to 2007. 4/1/2015 12:16:14 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 31: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) not giving chance to committed and sincere leaders to get a berth in the Legislative Council and preferring losers and tainted persons for the berth in the upper house has disappointed the people who put in their heart and soul to ensure that BJP wins 25 assembly seats from the Jammu region. While the names of former party MLA Ashok Khajuria and party spokesperson Ramesh Arora are making rounds for being catapulted as MLCs on the BJP quota for the scheduled nominations against vacant posts in Upper House, the political observers feel that the party could have given loyal and young people this opportunity to maintain it...

Since Monday many separatists have issued statements launching a scathing attack on the state government and the administration. These people are terming natural calamity as a conspiracy hatched against Kashmiris. What an irony! Someone needs to ask them how can government be blamed for the floods? And how can they term it as a conspiracy? Natural calamity can hit any part of the world and no one can be held responsible for it. Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq issued a statement on Monday claiming that Mirwaiz U...
