BJP will not open account in Kashmir: Soz | | | Saahil Suhail
Early Times Report
Kulgam, Nov 12: Indirectly accusing BhartiyaJanta Party (BJP) of purchasing votes in Kashmir, JK Pardesh Congress chief Saif-u-Din Soz on Wednesday said that the saffron party wouldn't get even a single seat in upcoming assembly elections in Kashmir region. After accompanying the Congress candidate Inyat-ul-Rather who today filed his nomination papers for the Homeshalibug constituency Soz said, "I am confident that BJP will not be able to open its account in Kashmir because of the ideological differences and despite they have kept open its coffers in Kashmir", adding Kashmir is Muslim majority state and upcoming assembly elections in the state are a direct fight between RSS and Kashmiris. "Here is no wave, however some political parties have started supporting BJP directly and indirectly but Congress which has represented the wishes of all the three regions of the state will confront communal forces like BJP and RSS," he said. Soz said that RSS after taking the charge of Country is now making inroads in Jammu and Kashmir. "It is the RSS government not of BJP and here too RSS has arrived but I am confident that Kashmir will preserve its past political identity because of the ideological differences." He added. Commenting on Sajad Lone's recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Soz said that political parties in state have started forging alliance indirectly and directly with the BJP but Congress will alone fight them. |
