Omar Abdullah rejects poll predictions as ridiculous

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 12: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah shaken by the poll predictions on the news channel has dismissed them as ridiculous. He has said these are not the based ground realities.
A news channel suggests National Conference would just reach the double digit figure. The poll predictions are in league with the ground realities and are also in consonance with the reports of the intelligence agencies. All of them have predicted the same result from the Omar's party.
Omar who had till now been the only most visible face on the Chief Minister and probably holds the record for giving maximum interviews on the TV-infact at one point communicating through TV only- has been shaken off by the poll survey which have exposed their value on the ground.
To keep his flock together he is now resorting to this tactics. It's not for the first time he is doing so. At a time when Modi wave was sweeping the nation, he posted pictures on his twitter account greatly undermining the strength of the public at the venue, which incidentally was the highest in the Jammu city.
He then dismissed the Modi wave altogether much to his own folly. Omar now sensing the defeat is giving the message that no party can form the Government without the participation of the NC.
With this statement the Chief Minister has realised that NC will not be able to form the Government on its own and is ready to play the role of the second fiddle in the scheme of things.
"It shows the desperation and realisation of the party to hang on to the power at any cost even if the party is likely to fall big from its pedestal of grand old party of the State," said senior NC leader, who has been sidelined by the party.
