BJP exists nowhere in Ladakh, “bogus” voting not possible again | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Nov 12: As the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leaves no stone unturned to fulfill their set Mission 44+, Chief Executive Councilor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) of Kargil district, Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai while terming BJP leadership a victim of internal bickering said that BJP exists nowhere in Ladakh division and “allegedly” bogus voting is not possible always for BJP candidates. Talking to Early Times, Karbalai said that 'it was bogus voting which helped BJP leadership to won one seat during Lok Sabha polls in Ladakh Province by mere 16 votes otherwise according to him a party leadership with hardline BJP ideology has never succeeded to even gather few dozens of people in their programmes in whole of Ladakh division and now claiming to win a single seat from Ladakh again is what BJP leadership is day dreaming. "16 votes allegedly were sent from somewhere at the last moment on counting day of Lok Sabha polls, those were bogus votes actually and it was said that some Army personnels have cast votes, such tactics worked for BJP to won one seat from here, but such tactics won't work this time again," said Asgar Ali Karbalai. He said that BJP state unit is victim of internal bickering in Jammu Province where party leadership these days is busy in building castles in the air and claims to sweep whole of Jammu division and added that senior BJP leaders who are fighting in Jammu region over tickets to contest upcoming Assembly elections are actually well aware of their fate that they cannot cross over maximum 15 mark in whole of Jammu division but they cannot announce among common masses. While rejecting any success to BJP in all the four Leh, Nobra, Kargil and Zanskar constituencies during upcoming Assembly elections, he said that in Ladakh division people even hate to listen to the name of BJP and winning a single seat this time would be impossible for BJP come what may, as according to him BJP cannot befool people of Ladakh in the name of abrogation of article 370 and development as they did in Jammu province during their campaigning for Lok Sabha polls and befooled people. Pertinently according to one noted political analyst of Ladakh, 'BJP candidate of Ladakh these days does even manage to secure good gathering for his programmes in any of the four constituencies which in turn means that BJP has no future in Ladakh division and state wing of BJP according to him will have to satisfy with maximum of 15 seats in whole of Jammu and Kashmir and forget their Mission 44+. He said that neither in Kashmir and nor in Ladakh division as well, BJP can even won a single seat in upcoming Assembly elections and added that some politicians and political parties of the state are unnecessarily making issues out of nothing by considering BJP state unit in the race of new Government formation. |
