VBPHSS celebrates Birtn anniversary of Swami Viveknanda 1/13/2015 12:18:07 AM Jammu, Jan 12: Vishwa Bharati Public Higher Secondary School (VBPHSS) today celebrated 151st birthday of of Swami Vivekananda in school premises Akalpur Morh. According to press release, Principal of the school Annapurna Kaul was the chief guest on the occasion. The occasion marked poems, speeches and songs by various houses of the school. Simran Thusoo of class 9th B delivered a detailed speech about the life and teachings of Swami while as Arushi, Pallavi and Taniya of class 9th B and 7th A respectively put forward their sayings. Before the close of the programme chief guest stressed upon everybody to follow the teachings and inculcate in themselves the ideas of Swami Vivekananda who preached national integration and international brotherhood. Shakti Raina House Master Shivam House greeted everybody on the eve of Lohri and delivered a speech explaining the significance of National Youth Day.
