Jammu, Jan 12: The Institute of Management Sciences organized an industrial visit of its BCA-III year Students to Intex. Engineering students were warmly received by the officials of Intex including the Unit Head OP. Sharma Manager and personnel Manager, HRD/Operations, Manmohan Singh.
According to press release, the top ranking officials in an interactive session, briefed students about the Company's profile, infrastructural facilities, its achievements and vision in current economic scenario including the functioning of 3-different Units, plant layout from production, Quality assurance (QA), Quality Control Department (QCD) Labeling, packaging to logistics.
It was an open discussion, where the required employability skills and prospects of placement were explored by the students.
There after the students were taken to different parts of the plant by Rajesh Rohila-Manager Production. He briefed them about different functioning and methodologies being used in the entire process of manufacturing of multimedia speakers, PCB's, Woofers and Tweeters used in the operations of Computers, home theatres and other Audio Systems.
This visit not only brushed up the concept of corporate culture in the students, but also sparked off an urge to acquire more and deeper understanding about the existing technology. |
