Jammu, Jan 12: Shopkeepers from Prem Nagar Market in the Jogi Gate area today formed their association in the name and style 'Prem Nagar Market Shopkeeper's Association' here today.
According to press release, in a general body meeting of the shopkeepers from Prem Nagar Market, it was resolved to form an association so as to address various issues being faced by the trader community of the area.
As such it was unanimously decided to form the association to represent more than one hundred fifty business establishments of the area. The association was formally announced with Dr. Mohd. Hussain as its President, S. Harbans Singh as Vice President, Mr. R C Sharma as General Secretary, Sanjeev Kumar as Secretary and Ashwani as the Treasurer of the Association.
While speaking on the occasion the newly elected office bearers assured the members of full support in solving all the issues being faced by the trading community of the area.
They stressed the need for cleanliness in the area, best business ethics, and better facilities for the members. Prominent among those who attended the meeting include Madan Gopal, Varun, Ashok Kumar Sodhi, Rajesh Gupta, Rohit Gupta, Raj Sharma, Muddasir Wani, Satish Nehar, ML Sharma, Majid Wani, Kapil Dev Singh, Sachin, Parul Mehra, Ashwani Gupta and Jehangir Khan. |
