HC directs State to take decision within 8 weeks Promotion of petitioner as CE 1/27/2015 11:42:06 PM Jammu, Jan 27: In a petition filed by MD Khan, a member of Rural Engineering Wing and presently on deputation to Divisional Procurement of Supplies and Marketing Society, Jammu and is aggrieved that respondents have failed to take decision on his claim for regularization as Executive Engineer w.e.f 01.01.1992 and thereafter, as Superintending Engineering w.e.f 01.01.1997. He claims to have a right to be confirmed in the grade of Chief Engineer from 01.01.2000. Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice Hasnain Massodi after hearing Advocate Parag Sharma who stated at the bar states that petitioner confident of merit in his claim, would feel satisfied, if petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to accord consideration to the his case and take a decision in the matter within reasonable time frame, disposed of the petition with the direction to State to accord consideration to petitioner's claim having regard to averments made in the petition in accordance with rules and guidelines occupying the field. Let such decision be taken within eight weeks from the date, copy of this order is made available to them.
