Asiya describes Bhat, Lone 'dead wood,' demands their ouster from separatist camp | Hardliners versus Moderates | | ET Report JAMMU, Jan 27: It seems separatist in Kashmir have finally decided to expose each other for secret wrong doings as hardliner woman separatist leader, Asiya Andrabi, has termed senior separatist leaders Abdul Ghani Bhat and Bilal Gani Lone as "dead wood" and demanded their ouster from the separatist camp. Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Milat, Asiya Andrabi has trained her guns at Abdul Gani Bhat and Bilal Gani Lone, brother of Sajad Lone and has asked the separatist leaders to come forward and expose people like Bhat and Lone who according to her, are betraying people of Jammu and Kashmir in the name of Azadi. "I have already informed people that leaders like Abdul Ghani Bhat and Bilal Gani lone were never part and parcel of 'All parties Hurriyat conference' and they were always dead wood," said Asiya Andrabi in statement. Pertinently, Bhat had recently hogged the headlines after he called on Peoples Democratic Party Patron Mufti Mohammad Syed at his Gupkar residence following which Bhat faced severe criticism from various separatist factions. Asiya Andrabi also lashed out at Bilal Gani Lone and his elder brother Sajad Gani lone who is now in mainstream politics and won two seats in recently held assembly elections. "Sajad Supported freedom struggle out of his compulsions for some time and people like him were never truly part of ongoing struggle. People of Kashmir are wise enough to decide who is who," she said. Asiya said that separatist factions were aware of the intentions of Sajad Gani Lone days before he joined separatist camp and added that separatist leaders from the day one were aware that he (Sajad) was actually a pro-India man who joined separatist camp due to some compulsions. 'Lone family was never part of this freedom struggle. People of Kashmir are politically conscious and they know it very well that who are the pro-Indian people present in the pro-freedom camp." She also alleged that Sajad is hand in glove with Bahartiya Janata Party and his sister Shabnam Gani Lone also contested assembly elections and their brother Bilal Gani Lone supported them. Asiya also castigated National Conference and Congress and said: "'For us it does not matter which party will form government in Jammu and Kashmir. I don't think there is any difference between BJP and Congress, both parties are anti-Kashmir and are sailing in the same boat. National Conference which once termed Congress as worms of gutter forged an alliance with them, these parties belong to India which pursue anti-Kashmir agenda, people must understand and differentiate between their foes and friends." Pertinently this is not the first time that separatists in Kashmir are exposing each other, separatist faction 'Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir' led by Shabir Shah and Nayeem Khan was formed last year after Shah and Khan said goodbye to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. |
