JAMMU, Jan 27: Accusing Crime Branch Jammu of adopting delaying tactics to enquire the alleged irregularities in promotions of Class-IV employees in Education Department, District Doda, some aspirants today approached Early Times office and claimed that their issue remained unaddressed even after filing of complaint with the then IG Crime Branch in February 2014.
Bikram Singh, one of the aspirants said that DPC of 21 Class-IV employees in Education Department in District Doda was conducted on April 23-24, 2013 with a type test conducted on the same day at the ITI office Doda result of which was released on December 19, 2013 from the ITI office Kishtwar.
"On the same day i.e. December 19, 2013, the then Director School Education invited objections through print media if any to sort out the same within a fixed time period. We filed the objection in the same week giving authentication of few of the persons whose names appeared in the list against the norms including the one Tanveer Ahmed who did not take the type test physically", said Bikram Singh.
"Receiving our objections, the then Director ordered a departmental inquiry under the then (Present) Joint Director Elementary Education Saif Ali Chouhan but the list released after the inquiry was the replica of the previous list as the Joint Director prepared the fresh list in the premises of the then Director School Education", Singh further alleged.
Later on February 28, 2014, Singh said that he along with others filed a written complaint with the then IG Crime Branch, Jammu to further inquire the alleged irregularities in the promotion of the Class-IV employees.
"The then IG Crime Branch, Jammu assured us that time-bound investigation will be done to reveal the truth but more than 11 months have passed and the reality is before the Crime Branch as well as the victims of the nepotism in the hand of Education authorities", Singh added.
