Appointment of ReT teacher in MS Banpuri subject to outcome of petition: HC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 29 (JNF): In a petition challenging advertisement notification published vide No. DIP/J-8521 dated 09/02/2010, pursuant where to selection of candidates for engagement as Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teacher in Math Stream in MS Banpuri, Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Justice Janak Raj Kotwal observed that selection/appointment against above said posts shall remain subject to outcome of the writ petition. The petitioner has submitted that advertisement notice shows that selection would be made on village/habitation basis. "In the select panel, petitioner figures at serial No. 3. Selection process, however, seems to have got delayed due to filing of writ petition being SWP No. 2011/2010 by one Shashi Bala. Petitioner now claims preference over the candidates figuring at serial Nos. 1 and 2 in the panel contending that selection should be made at Panchayat level because Panchayat unit in the area is smaller than the revenue village, petition stated and added, "in this regard, petitioner refers to communication No. DSEJ/RET/2430 dated 21.01.2011 of the Joint Director, Directorate of School Education. The Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Justice Janak Raj Kotwal after hearing Advocate Sudershan Sharma appearing for the petitioner observed that selection/appointment against above said posts shall remain subject to outcome of the writ petition. |
