RM College of Education organizes Inter college competitions 1/29/2015 10:45:53 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 29: NSS unit of R M College of Education in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. on Thursday organized an inter college symposium, slogan writing and Poster making competition in the college premises. The theme of the program was 'Indhan Bachao, Jan Dhan Badhao' and the colleges who participated were Sai Shyam College, JK College, Chenab College, Thakur Anant Singh College, Ranjit College, Adarsh College, Handa College KC Gurukul College, Vaishno Devi College, RM College. The program started with the lighting of traditional lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. Abdul Hamid Advisor Ministry of Oil, Petroleum and Natural Gas (GOI) was the chief guest, Parimal Kumar Manager IOCL presided over the function and Santosh Kumar Gupta Manager Retail Sales was the guest of honour. The competitors were adjudged by Afaq lone from IOCL and Prof. HK Kitchloo from Sai Shyam College of Education. The principal of the college welcomed the guest formally. Rameshwar Mengi (Chairman) congratulated the participants and winners and announced the results. In Symposium Subha Mishra from Sai Shyam College, Manvi Jamwal from RM College and Nidhi Sharma from KC Gurukul College stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. In slogan writing, Neha Kunwer from RM College, Preeti from Handa College and Poonam Bhau from Thakur Anant singh College bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. In poster making Shikha Singh and Divya Mahajan from J K college,. Sushma Kumari and Seema Rani from Vaishno Devi College and Sujata and Subha From KC Gurukul College got 1st, 2nd and 3rdposition respectively. Certificates and mementoes were given away to the winners and participants. The program ended with vote of thanks by Senior Lecturer of the college Priyanka Sharma.
