Vicky-XI Pathankot, GCC Haryana win 14th, 15th match of 5th police martyr C'ship | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 29: In the ongoing 5th Police Martyr Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship,the 14th and 15th match was played at Sports Stadium Kathua. The 14th match of the Championship was played between Vicky-XI Pathankot and Rupa Cricket Club Srinagar while 15th match was played between KC Sports Club Jammu and Gurgaon Cricket Club Haryana. In the 14th match, Vicky-XI choose to bat first after winning the toss and scored 144 runs in 20 overs by losing only 3 wickets. Prince and Ravi were the top scorers by scoring 64 Runs in 56 balls (Not Out) and 32 runs in 28 balls respectively. In reply, the Rupa Cricket Club Srinagar scored only 41 runs by losing all the wickets, thus Vicky-XI won the 14th match of the tournament by 103 runs. Ravi of Vicky XI, 32 runs and 04 wickets, was declared man of the match and was awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/- and trophy. In the 15th match, KC Sports Club Jammu won the toss and choose to bat first. KC Sports Club scored 87 runs only with Sidharth Malhotra 33 Runs in 43 balls as the top scorer. In reply, the AMCC Gurgaon Cricket Club Haryana chased the target in 11.2 overs, thus AMCC Gurgaon Cricket Club won the 15th match of the tournament by 9 Wickets. Manoj from AMCC Gurgaon Cricket Club Haryana scored 72 runs in 43 balls, and was declared man of the match. |
