| Lok Adalat cum awareness camp held at Majalta | | | Udhampur, Jan 29 : The Tehsil Legal Services Committee Majalta organized a Lok Adalat cum awareness camp under the chairman ship of Renu Dogra , Munsiff (JMIC) Majalta at the Court complex today.
In the Lok Adalat number of cases of civil and criminal nature were settled on spot . Speaking on the occasion Renu Dogra Munsiff (JMIC) , who also happened to be Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Majalta, made the people aware about the legal aid being provided to the poor people.
She called for mediation and conciliation for settling the disputes and also called upon the people to take recourse to Lok Adalats. Chairman TLSC made the participants aware about the various Acts and Schemes launched by the Government for the farewell of public and urged the people to avail benefits of the schemes.
Lok Adalat witnessed a cheering response from litigants, who came forward to settle their long-pending disputes, escaping the ruinous cost of litigation and technical procedures. Bar members Advocate Mohan Lal Gupta , Advocate Amit Sharma , Naib Tehsildar Majalta attended the camp. |
