| | | District Road Safety Committee meet held

Kishtwar, Jan 29 : Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan chaired a District Road Safety Committee meeting today in which a Sub Committee was constituted to ensure a coordinated approach and action plan for effective road safety in the district.
During the meeting ARTO Kishtwar, Azhar Amin Zargar gave a detailed presentation regarding the measures taken to avoid accidents, awareness drives for drivers and common people and punitive steps for defaulters. CMO Kishtwar informed that the health department will give first aid training to the drivers so that in case of any emergency, they can themselves provide first aid to the injured.
"A sub committee comprising of ASP, ARTO and XEn R&B was also constituted to ensure a coordinated approach and action plan for effective road safety in the district, official said.
Among others the meeting was attended by SP Kishtwar, Yougal Manhas and CMO Kishtwar, SP Gupta. |
