BC in collaboration of BGSBU organize workshop for govt school teachers 1/30/2015 11:03:44 PM Rajouri, Jan 30: British Council (BC) in collaboration of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department, World Voice and J&K Chapter of INTACH today organized two days workshop for government school teachers. According to press release, the works based on 'World Voice Project' and 'Introduction of Drama in classrooms' which was in the campus of BGSBU, around 90 teachers from various areas of district participates during the workshop. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor of BGSBU Professor IA Hamal suggested that the British Council office holders to approach state government for incorporating 'play way 'method of teaching in curriculum. "Practical teaching is more responsive than theory teaching and British Council is doing good job to popularize the concept but there is need to take up the issue for implementation at the grass-root level" said Prof Hamal . Meanwhile, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof AK Kaul highlighted the importance of practical education and appreciated the efforts being taken by INTACH and British Council in this field.
