| Jammu, Jan 30: State Level Oversight Committee of monitoring Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG (DBTL) held its meeting here today under the chairmanship of Secretary to J&K Govt Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Department, Baseer Ahmad Khan in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat, Jammu.During the proceedings of the meeting, a detailed company-wise review of DBTL scheme was discussed. Giving details M K Sinha, Senior Area Manager of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) stated that out of 3,56,748 LPG consumers of the company, 1,52,000 consumers have become cash transfer compliant. "Of this 1,52,000 cash transfer compliant consumers Aadhaar number of 22,000 consumers is seeded in their consumer data, he added.Ajai Singh, Senior Regional Manager (LPG) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) stated that of the total 9.95 lakh LPG connections of the company 56% have become cash transfer compliant. Vikram Gupta, Territory Manager of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) stated that out of 1,48,894 LPG connection of the company 79672 have become cash transfer compliant. In the end Chairman of the State Level Monitoring Committee and Secretary to J&K Govt CA&PD Department, Baseer Ahmad Khan directed that during February 2015 two review meetings will be taken by both the Directors of CA&PD Department and three review meetings shall be taken by all the Deputy Commissioners who are Chairman of District Level Monitoring Committee of DBTL of their districts and also directed that progress to the extent of 80% should be achieved by mid-February 2015.
