JDA Parking Lot at Samadhian Road a nuisance 3/19/2015 12:15:58 AM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 18: The Jammu Development Authority parking at Samadhian Road leading to 3rd Tawi Bridge (Gujjar Nagar bridge) has come up as a nuisance not only for the vehicle drivers, but also to the people living around it and to the commuters as well. The parking place for the most of the season, particularly during raining season remains full of water logging as the JDA authorities have fail to maintain this parking slot properly. The drivers and the people while talking to Early Times showed a lot of concern towards non maintenance of the parking space. The people said the parking lot has been turned into a dumping garbage field that remains full of water logging. They said that foul smell is emitting from the water logging areas and the garbage dumps, that has make the life of the people living around it as hell. The people demanded that JDA should maintain the parking properly so that it did not create problems for the commuters, drivers and the people living in its vicinity. They said that the land has also become the breeding house for mosquitoes and various other diseases.
