jammu, Mar 18: Dr Gurmeet Kour, the victim of alleged misconduct by the health minister Lal Singh has said that while she had received a rough a derogatory remark from the minister in the full public view, she was very sure of the reason for the minister being corrupt and dishonest.
"It is not only that medical fraternity have been hit by his misconduct and misrule in his erstwhile stint as health minister in the NC-Cong regime or in the present coalition, his credential were already under suspicion due to his arrogant and bossy nature that hinted about his corrupt mindset," said the female medico.
Talking to Early Times Dr Gurmeet Kour said that since she remains totally preoccupied with her profession while providing succor to her ailing psychiatric patients, she seldom took off her time to read into the newspapers about the mis-happenings occurring in the governance and the corrupt system prevalent with the ministers, bureaucrats or the influential ones.
"Lal Singh's other part being a land encroacher has not come up as a surprise to me as I can understand from his way of executing himself that he acts more of a don rather than a simple human being and his involvement in land scandal can be one of the many other corrupt practices in which must be indulged , " she said.
She also included that Bharitya Janta Party that has wished to come in support of Lal Singh has already lost its tone and tenor before going into a working coalition as the entire BJP lot seems to be succumbing to the PDP diktats which started from CM showing obsession with Pakistan and terrorist and later releasing the Kashmir riots mastermind Masrat Alam.
She aid at that time the party was in opposition and was executing a 'camouflaged faith' with the people of Jammu and Kashmir while lashing out at Lal Singh branding him a land scamster. But now since he is in hands and glove with them , they are bound to protect them.
"State BJP since its inception in the state has no bearings and have been riding either people's faith in religion to secure their political points in 2008 Amarnath land agitation and now have come into power riding Modi's charisma. The party has no locus standii of its own," she concluded |
