Adbi Kunj organizes literary meet on Sahir Ludhianvi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 18: Continuing with its mission to promote the sense of literary creativities and creating an atmosphere to show its respect to the Urdu and other languages, the Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu held another multifaceted creative literary meet in the memory of veteran Urdu poet and famous film song writer Sahir Ludhianvi in the premises of Zee-Pre-Kidzee School Talab Tillo, Jammu. The programme was organized to commemorate Ludhianvi’s birth anniversary. In the opening of the meet, Sham Talib and other speakers threw light on the various aspects of the life and his literary works in poetry and the field of writing of film songs. The presentations of the PROSE session were included Jadugar Shair, Sahir Ludhianvi (Urdu) by Sham Talib, a Hindi Kahani “Andhvishwas” by KL Deewana and a Dogri short story “Pooja” presented by Aarash Om Dalmotra. In the poetic session singer poets sang the different songs of late Sahir Ludhanavi. In the meet it was announced that Adbi Kunj is organizing two special literary tributes functions on March 28 in the sweet memory of late Raman Rounak Hindi poet, writer and painter on his death anniversary and on the birth anniversary of veteran literary personality OP Sharma Sarthi. |
