ReT Forum condemns CEOs orders to keep them away from exam duties | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 20: All J&K RET Teachers Forum has strongly condemned various orders issued by Chief Education Officers of the state on the direction of the government during video conferencing on 19/03/2015 in which it is ordered that all the ReT teachers whether regularized or un regularized have been asked to be ousted from any type of exam duties of 10th class and 12th class and to be exempted from such duties in future. According to press release, a strong resentment by shown All J&K RET teachers Forum and meetings were organized at Distt. Headquarters to condemned such a act of the Govt. towards ReT teachers community who is the back bone of the department, as more than 60% schools in far flung areas are totally run by ReT Teachers, said State President, Vinod Sharma in a meeting at Udhampur. He said that those were the ReT Teachers who opened the locked schools in 2000 where other Teachers could not attend their duties due to various reasons. Since 2000, More than 60,000 ReT Teachers have been enganged and half of them have been regualized as general line teachers But still they have been treated step motherly by the Govt. as well as by the Education department for providing equal treatment perhapes the Education department is un aware about the achievements of the ReT Teachers. State Gen. Sec. Najam Jaffri in a meeting at Poonch showed resentment and condemned such base less orders. At Jammu Provincial President Rajesh Singh Jamwal and State vice President Younis Rahi organized meeting to condemned such orders and demanded immediate revocation of the order. |
