KATHUA, Mar 20: Old parents of Parshotam Lal, only policeman killed in Rajbagh Police station attack, expressed pride in the bravery and martyrdom of their son who laid down his life fighting the terrorists, while his wife mourned the death of her husband consolably.
The attackers opened indiscriminate fire at the Rajbagh police station a little before 6 am targeting sentry Parshotam Lal, 35yrs S/o Parkash Chand, R/o Bandar, Hiranagar and killing him on the spot.
While Villagers raised slogans in praise of the supreme sacrifice of the deceased, His wife Nisha Devi, 30yrs got unconscious several times and mourned the death of his husband whom she married 2 years ago.
Parshotam was youngest among of his five brothers and a sister. He was deployed here at Rajbagh Police station few months ago and performed his duty efficiently. His companions said that Parshotam was brave and always talked about the peace and tranquility in the state and nation. They said the village shall never forget his martyrdom and he will remembered for long. |
