Kidnapped girl rescued, abductor held 3/21/2015 12:18:00 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 20: Police claimed to have recovered an abducted Bhaderwah based girl from Pathankote besides securing the arrest of the kidnapper while investigation in the case is in progress. The accused has been identified Jeet Singh alias Rohit Sharma s/o Amar Nath of Manthla, Bhaderwah presently residing at Batsab Kanwa Pathankot According to police sources, following complaint from family members of girl (name withheld) in which they alleged that their girl has been kidnapped from village Draphara (Kellar) area by some unknown person(s). "Accordingly a case FIR No. 26/2015 u/s 363/109 RPC was registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and Police swung into action besides activating its sources as well as enquired from the relatives of abducted girl/ villagers and some non-resident villagers residing in other parts of State. During investigations of the case, on the tip-off of reliable sources and Call Detail Reports (CDRs), a team of Doda Police under the supervision of ASP/SDPO Bhaderwah raided at Batsab Kanwa- Pathankot and recovered the abducted girl who was kidnapped by Jeet Singh alias Rohit Sharma where he was living with a changed identity as Rohit Sharma.
