Missing Ramban lady recovered from Batote, one held 5/27/2015 11:37:11 PM Jammu May 27: Ramban Police today claimed to have recovered a missing lady from Batote who reportedly went missing from May 10 with the arrest of one person who allegedly had abducted her. A missing case stands registered at concerned police station. "The accused has been identified namely as Abdul Qayoom s/o Bashir Ahemd of Baghna Seri, sources said According to Police sources, a missing report was lodged in the daily diary of Police Station Ramban that one Razia Begum w/o Sher Ali of Kanga of Ramban district has been missing from his house since May 10. Accordingly a case was registered and investigations were taken up to trace the missing lady. During investigations, an information was generated by SHO PS Ramban Inspr Ajay Singh Chib, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Mohd Rafiq, about missing lady was seen at Batote alongwith one Abdul Qayoom s/o Bashir Ahemd of Baghna Seri, police sources said. They said, "Acting Immediately a police party was dispatched to trace out the missing person and was today they were recovered. "Family of the missing lady has alleged that the said lady was kidnapped by said accused and thus the accused has been arrested. A case against FIR No. 60/2015 u/s 366/109 RPC has been registered against accused at P/S Ramban. Meantime the abducted lady has been handed over to his parent after completing legal formalities and the missing report has been closed.
