Vaishno College of Engineering celebrates farewell party 5/28/2015 12:47:54 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 27: When one wishes someone farewell, it is not good-bye, but a wishing that says, farewell in your life, farewell in your career, farewell in all your endeavors. Third year students of Computer science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering of Vaishno college of Engineering organized a Farewell Party for their seniors who are passing out. They had aptly named the programme 'Jashan-E-Rukhsat' which means "Good bye" and farewell to the pretty ladies and handsome men. The function started with the welcome of the 4th year students with, dholi followed by the welcome address by students & speeches of honorable Principal and Head of the Departments. The event comprised of several dance and singing performances and to make the event more entertaining & engaging a game of tongue twister and advertisement slogans was also played. What the juniors did next would remain etched in the minds of all the seniors since they had made a video that brought nostalgic memories of their life in Vaishno college of Engineering. The juniors showed a beautiful and mesmerizing video which consisted of pictures of every senior right from beginning to final year during every event or occasion. Directors, VGC, Varun Gupta and Rahul Pathania who were also the chief guest of the event, congratulated the third year students for organizing such an event to honor their seniors and presented gifts & titles to each student of outgoing batch as a token of love and also wished them a bright career & happy life ahead.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
