PAD threatens to go on strike 6/19/2015 11:00:56 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, June 19: Patwar Association Doda (PAD) threatened to go on strike during a meeting of its office bearer held under the chairmanship of its president Sukh Dev Sharma. The meeting was called to discuss various issues including non release of salary and furnishing of information regarding verification of list of ration card holders and census enumeration, beside threaten to go strike if harassment of Patwaris on account of Village Level Committee debacle could not be stopped. During the course of the meeting, the speakers said that a Village Level Committee consisting of officials of government department and elected members was constituted to conduct verification/scrutinizing of census list 2011 and CA&PD list, but added that the irony is that Patwari was the only official/member of the said committee who was again and again directed to furnish the said information with regard to the Performa keeps changing after every day or two, while the other members of the committee are merely to put their signatures on the said list which is from no point of view equitable distribution of official work.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
