Ram Madhav meets Farooq's close aide | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 24: On the one hand national general secretary of BJP, Ram Madhav, who was instrumental in the formation of PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir, claimed that coalition government would complete its full six year term, on the other hand he also opened channel of communications with the opposition National Conference. Sources told Early Times that Ram Madhav, who visited Jammu on Monday, met a close lieutenant of National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah on city outskirts here. Dr Farooq's close aide is not directly associated with National Conference but he is very close to former Chief Minister due to his active involvement in social, political and sports politics of Jammu and Kashmir. What transpired during the meeting is not known but one thing is clear that meeting was held and both the leaders discussed different issues. Sources elaborated that meeting was arranged by some new entrants in BJP, who have direct or indirect relations with National Conference. "These new entrants in BJP are working round the clock to revive party leadership relations with its erstwhile coalition partner National Conference. It was all due to the initiative of these new entrants that meeting was arranged. Dr Farooq's close aide who met Ram Madhav is also very close to these new entrants in the party also," sources added. |
