Jammu, July 15: The Jammu and Kashmir students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh organized "Iftar" party at Dargah Sharif, Hazratbal, Srinagar to celebrate Ramadan.
Hundreds of B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA and Polytechnic Diploma students of Aryans Group gathered at the venue. The students distributed free Iftar boxes containing dates, Bananas and juice to the people on the occasion helping them to break their fast. Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group was also present on the occasion to encourage the students.
While talking on the occasion, Prof. B.S Sidhu said that majority of students studying in Aryans Group of Colleges are from the valley. He added that earlier also, the JK students of Aryans celebrated Eid Ul Fitr in a full swing with staff and management at Aryans campus situated at Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, Near Chandigarh.
Sidhu further said that students namely Bilal Ahmed Dar, Hanan Bashir, Sajid, Basit Bashir etc took the lead in organizing the Iftar and actively participated in it. |
