Top RSS leaders hold meetings with Pracharaks, VHP, BD | | | JAMMU, July 15: The top leadership of RSS, which is camping in Jammu for last two days, today held marathon meetings with the Sangh Pracharaks and leaders of its affiliate groups including VHP and Bajrang Dal at Ved Mandir here on prevailing political situation in the state.The leaders also sought a feedback from the Sangh Pracharaks and its affiliate organizations over the public response on the three-month long BJP-PDP alliance in the state and the functioning and role of BJP ministers. The RSS team which reached here early Tuesday was led by Bhaya Ji Joshi Sangh Karivah. He was accompanied by Datatray Hoshbolay and Gopal Krishan Ji Seh Sarkarivah of the Sangh. They held detailed meetings with the Sangh Pracharaks including organising general secretary BJP Ashok Kaul and sought a detailed feedback from him on the functioning of his party and the state government.Sources said the Sangh leaders have asked its Pracharaks people of Jammu, who have always had an unflinching faith in Sangh and its sister organizations, should not feel betrayed with the performance of the coalition as they have high hopes from BJP. Sources said the issue of establishing separate AIIMS also came under discussion and the RSS leadership was also positive on the issue that Jammu should not feel neglected as the region lacks proper medicare facilities. Sources said the Sangh Pracharaks were also asked to maintain a vigil on functioning of the government. Sangh leaders are meeting the senior BJP leaders and ministers on Thursday, and according to sources the BJP general secretary incharge J&K Ram Madhav, party national vice president, Avinash Rai Khanna and Minister of State in PMO Dr Jintendra Singh, besides Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and other ministers of BJP are attending the crucial meeting which will discuss the future strategy of BJP in the state also. On Tuesday, Sangh leaders held meetings with Sangh activists from Ladakh and Kashmir and discussed the problems peopel in Kashmir and Ladakh. The rehabilitation of Pandits, PM employment package and issues of migrant camps were discussed in the meeting. Besides this, Sangh leadership discussed UT Status for Ladkah, inclusion of Botilanguage into 8th schedule of Indian Constitution and opening of Ladakh route for Mansarovar yatra in Tibet. |
