Early Times Report Jammu, July 15: Students from various areas of Jammu today called on Priya Sethi MoS Education, Culture & Information at her residence, herein Jammu in the shape of delegation. The delegation was led by Partap Singh Jamwal, State Secretary, Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and Nikhil Sharma (BJYM Leader) to discuss issues related to those students of Class 12 who have lost their one chance to appear in the examination due to the flash floods last year in September. Nikhil Sharma said for those students of 12th Class who have been appearing in the examinations with two paper system of examination got their last chance cancelled following recent flash floods in September last year as most of the students didn't get the last chance to sit in the examination. On this occasion Partap Singh Jamwal said government took the Paper-A in the August 2014 and Paper-B in May 2015 with a gap of over 10 months whereas the same should have been completed in the month of August 2014. But Partap said that due to nature's fury students could not appear in the examination. He said in the meantime, students lost their one chance of sitting in the examination through the biannual mode of examination. "JK BOSE has adopted attitude by asking one or two subject failure students to appear again in examinations in the new session for all the subjects", he lamented. Priya Sethi, MoS listened to the grievances highlighted by Partap patiently and assured that the same issue will be addressed soon in the better interest of the affected students' community. Priya Sethi said that the same issue will be discussed at appropriate level to find the genuine solution for aggrieved students community.
