CUJ organizes awareness session on "Investment Options in Stock Market" 7/30/2015 11:29:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 30: Central University of Jammu (CUJ) in collaboration with Bombay Stock Exchange and Kamra Events today organized awareness session on "Investment options in stock Market". The key resource person Varun Gupta, Manager, Marketing- Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) gave an overview of the historical evolution of BSE and Stock exchanges in India. "Gupta focused on the importance of analyzing company performance before investing in the share market", Gupta , explained different investment methods and planning a secure investment. He further explained different aspects of Stock market activities including Do's and Don'ts for the Investors, Trading and Settlement, Risk Management. He also explained about the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and explained its benefits to the students. Meanwhile he suggested the young students to constantly monitor the stock market and invest at the right time. Prof. Deepak Raj Gupta earlier welcomed all the dignitaries and thanked Kamra Events for organizing a session on such an important topic at Central University of Jammu, Jammu. He further said that Prof Ashok Aima after taking over as Vice Chancellor of the University has laid special emphasis on improving industry-academia interface. Prof. Gupta stressed on the need of more interactions from corporate experts with students. The session was followed by a Q&A session and was attended by the students and Faculty of Central University of Jammu. The event was coordinated by the Department of HRM and OB.
