Bootlegger held with 72 pooches of liquor 7/31/2015 12:00:58 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar July 30: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers and bootleggers, the Police arrested a bootlegger and recovered 72 pooches of liquor (frooti) from his possession at Bus Stand Kishtwar. "The accused has been identified namely as Manoj Kumar s/o Prem Nath Sharma of Sarkoot Kishtwar. According to police spokesperson, police party led by I/C SHO Police Station Kishtwar Nayeem Ul Haq Mattoo under the supervision of SP, Yougal Manhas intercepted a person for his suspicious movements particularly after noticing police at Bus Stand Kishtwar. "The belonging of suspect were thoroughly searched and police recovered 72 pooches of liquor (frooti) from his possession, Police said adding the accused was arrested on spot. A case under FIR No 125/15 u/s 48 A Excise Act has been registered with Kishtwar police.
